Dear Christians: Have You Heard The Harsh Reality?

I know many Christians are keen on the whole “Good News” thing, but I have a little bit more of a harsh reality that I would like to share. Not to worry though, because there is good news with this harsh reality too. In fact, there is a lot of good news.

Jesus wasn’t real and the Bible is fiction. I know that might be hard for most Christians to hear, but there it is – the harsh reality.

The good news is that you aren’t going to Hell to be tortured for all eternity and neither are any of your friends and family who don’t believe in the same bullshit in the exact same way you do. Plus, you aren’t going to be bored out of your mind for all eternity in Heaven either. That’s awesome because eternity is a really long time. I mean how long can you really kiss God’s ass before you get bored? 10 seconds, 2 hours, 5 years, 1 trillion years? Eternity is even longer than that.

Further, you don’t have to waste your life on this bullshit any more. We only have one life to live and you have probably wasted a good chunk of it believing in this fictional story that has more plot holes than a Michael Bay movie. Don’t waste any more of your short life on this nonsense.

Enjoy your life! Spend time with your family and enjoy life and help to make things better for those you care about. If you have kids; spend your life making the world a better place for them and for their children and their children’s children. With every action, ask yourself, will this improve the lives of those I care about in the here and now?

Just imagine what you can help humanity accomplish if instead of wasting your valuable time and money propagating the fiction of religion and holding science back, you used that same time and money to help humanity grow in our understanding of the universe. We could cure cancer, end poverty, explore strange new worlds, and many other great things. It is all right there almost within our grasp.

Please accept what may first appear to be a harsh reality so that you can help us create an exciting future full of possibilities. Jesus wasn’t real and the Bible is fiction. Let that sink in and then move on to the real world where all this exciting stuff is going on. You can be apart of it. You just have to accept that harsh reality first.
