• The Test That is Greece

Greece got a new Prime Minister today, Alexis Tsipras. The youngest in over 150 years.

I don’t know much about the politics of Greece or the Med region… or most of Europe for that matter. I know that Greece is in trouble for a failing economy and this new PM will be trying to get some debt forgiveness. It may work, it may not.

The new PM is a self-described atheist.

He eschewed the traditional Greek Orthodox swearing in and used a secular oath, the first ever.

I think that, if he fails, then the media will be sure to highlight his atheism. If he helps the country and is a good leader, his lack of religion won’t be mentioned.

I hope that his ideas work, the Greeks need some help.
