The State of the Union is in crisis! The monarchy is back. The President has worked at lightning speed to attack and disrupt every aspect of American life and what destroy everything that America stands for both at home and around the world.
In just six weeks, this President has done so much damage that even if he died of a McDonald’s induced heart attack right now, it would likely take one hundred years to reverse the effects.
On the international stage, this President has pulled America out of almost every meaning treaties and agreements from efforts to address global climate changes to protecting the world from global pandemics and helping starving and sick children in third world nations. America was once the leader of the free world and now this President is cozying us up to dictators in our name.
America is now the fully cockolded sex slave of Mother Russia. Putin is our daddy now. Back in World War II, a tyrant marched in to Poland and promised not to go any further. He lied and America spearheaded the fight to stop him. Presently, Putin has invaded Ukraine with the same promise. Instead of spearheading the efforts to stop him, this country under the direction of this President, has surrendered the free world. President Trump have stripped the American flag of the colors red and blue, leaving only the waving white.
In the Middle East, Trump has given aid to the genocidal Netanyahu regime. His plan is to murder or remove all Palestine people from the Gaza Strip and turn it into a casino with his name on it. He’s already bankrupted so many casinos, now he seeks to bankrupt American values too.
America has surrendered to our enemies and seeks to make enemies out of our friends. Massive tariffs are about to kick in and Trump has promised a tariff war that will make all trade with our allies obsolete. America will be left isolated and alone.
Here in America, the situation is every bit as disastrous as the President’s personal unaccountable DOGE agency continues to dismantle and gut almost every social safety net and vital government agency, while gaining unrestricted and unsupervised access to every Americans private financial and health data.
The jackbooted ICE has already started raiding workplaces, schools, and private homes in an effort to round up and separate families and innocent people striving toward the American dream. And they don’t care who gets caught in their very wide net. If you don’t look the part of the white Christian Aryan American, ICE will deport you or imprison you in Getmo. Deport first and ask questions never. The question of whether you would give up Anne Frank and her family is now chillingly relevant.
Trump talks about hiring based purely on merit and yet he has hired the most unqualified people to the most important positions in government. From our blackout drunk Secretary of Defense to our anti-vaccine advocate as the Secretary of Health and Human Services, their only qualification this President cares about is their undying loyalty to him personally.
America used to be the land of immigrants that prided itself on our rugged individualism. But this President, seeks to criminalize diversity, equality, and inclusion. DEI initiatives aimed to encourage and protect our rugged individualism have been declared “toxic ideologies” by the State.
The State, under the direction of President Trump also seeks to harrass and bully the marginalized Trans community. And when they are done stamping out and trying to erase Trans people, they will pivot back to going after the rest of the LGBTQ+ Community. The most fundamentalist and extreme version of Christianity will be on the march. This is a new crusade in service toward a new inquisition and led by this bright orange clown of a President.
Trump talks about how America has “gone” woke, but America has always been woke! That is the promise of America. While we haven’t always lived up to that promise, as a nation we strive to do better. That statue in the middle of the Hudson River has a meaning! That Bell in the center of Philadelphia has a meaning! That flag that the President’s supporters love to parade around in, has a meaning! They love waving that flag and pledging allegiance to that flag, but they never paid attention to that pledge. Pro tip, it isn’t allegiance to the flag, it’s allegiance to the flag… FOR WHICH IT STANDS!!!! One nation indivisible, with liberty and justice for ALL!!!
My friends, the State of the Union is not good. We are not in a good place. We are in an American crisis and so it is fitting that I end with the words of a great American who had something to say about being in crisis:
