• PA State Atheist/Humanist Conference Is Almost Here!

September 13th through the 15th is the PA State Atheist/Humanist Conference! Tickets are still available, but they are going fast and there is only a very limited number of tickets at the door. This is the second year of this conference and this year it is in Philadelphia.

I’m one of the co-organizers of this conference so I really want it to succeed… and how could it not succeed with this awesome mix of guests. Some are pretty well known within the atheist community like Seth Andrews of The Thinking Atheist, Sean Faircloth from The Richard Dawkins Foundation, and Teresa McBain now with the Harvard Humanists.

But there are some fairly new names on the speaker list too. Tracy Lockwood is a former cult member and a moderator of the popular Evangelical Pastafarian Facebook page and Joe Wenke is the author of the Biblical satire, “You Got To Be Kidding!”

There will also be some great entertainment starting with Margaret Downey’s famous Anti-Superstition Party on Friday night featuring guest entertainer Jamy Ian Swiss. On Saturday night, comedians Dave DeLuca and Steve Hill will have you ROTFLYAO until Shelley Segal takes the stage. Yeah, we have Shelley Segal!!! How awesome is that!

There are so many guest speakers and I feel bad that I haven’t listed them all, but you can check out the complete list on the conference website: http://atheistpa.org/
