Even though Mayans have asked to put an end to the whole Mayan Doomsday myth it just doesn’t seem to be working out for them the way they want it to.
Too many people have bought into that and there’s no way around it. They’ll do rather silly things, like this Colombian guy who built an underground bunker to save himself from Mayan armaggedon:
With state secret stealth, John, a mid-50’s entrepreneur, gives the last touches to the bunker that he claims will allow him to survive the end of the world predicted by the Mayans.
“If the predictions are true, we are on the verge of a galactic cataclysm and beings in this evolutionary phase would lose”, says the Antiochian in an explanation of hours, enlivened with dozens of citations, some wine glasses and smell his flavor pipe.
After that catastrophe, he adds, only will remain those prepared like him who practices mental programming.
Now, the guy selling the Doomsday-proof Arks, he is a conman. This John guy is just gullible.
