Today begins the Jewish holiday of Passover. As a kid, I have to admit that I really enjoyed this holiday.…
I love the winter season, but I am not a fan of Christmas. The other day, I was asked by someone who didn’t know I was an atheist, how can I not love Christmas.
Liberal Christians are always telling me that God didn’t really mean this or that Jesus didn’t really mean that. Those parts of the Bible are metaphors and only atheists and the small minority of about 48% of Christians take that part literally. On Thursday, I wrote an Examiner article about the rise of the “nones.” Apparently the media loves the fact that according to the new Gallup tracking poll, the “nones” only grew .3% from the previous year. The religious are thrilled that our rise is “slowing down.” But they really shouldn’t be.
