It used to be that people had to wake up super early to wait on line for the best deals on Black Friday. Then they changed it to Thursday evening but kept calling it Black Friday anyway. I don’t understand that. In any case, the internet changed all that. Now you can order all your cheap shit you don’t need online.
With that in mind, I have some godless gift suggestions. Some of them might even work for your godly family members too. For starters, as a freelance writer for Publishers Weekly, I have been able to interview some awesome atheist authors… and a few religious ones too. Here are some of the interviews I have done and links for their books.
I’m a book lover and I have also always had a fascination with figuring out how to de-convert religious believers. So awhile back I compiled a list of my top five books for de-conversion. I recently added a bonus sixth book to the list. Check it out.
Also feel free to check out any of the book in the Dangerous Talk Bookstore in the sidebar.
It’s silly, but whenever I am on the road and I see someone has a religious bumper sticker, I often times try to get in front of them. Why would I do that? I want them to see my Dangerous Talk bumper sticker, of course. It’s true and my wife laughs at me every time I do it. It’s especially fun when we’re visiting her parents in conservative Pennsyltuckey.
Okay, if none of this stuff interests you at all, you can still use the Dangerous Talk Amazon Affiliate Link to buy whatever you like: http://www.amazon.com/?&tag=dangtalk-20
Yes, today’s blog is a shameless attempt to generate at least a little bit of money for Dangerous Talk. Blogging about atheism is fun and it is a passion of mine that I have been doing for many years, but it pays shit. So if I can get my readers to help me cover costs or fund future projects, without actually donating money, I’m all for that. Although, if you would like to donate money, that would be even more awesome. The link is in the sidebar along with ads for other junk you probably don’t need… I’m sure.
Don’t get trampled and don’t trample others.
