Just one note of dissent: what’s wrong with women playing soccer wearing shorter shorts?
Blatter answered the question: it’d make female soccer more popular — it might not be the best idea, though; soccer should be popular in its own right.
Of course, this should be just an option. And it’s up to female players to wear their shorts however long they like. (And were they to play with shorter shorts, I see nothing objectionable about it.)
