I found this story today and I was….well I suppose I can’t say I was shocked since I’m not. More like amused and angered. It’s just like a religious person to be inconsiderate to others because they feel superior because they’re “saved.”
At Yahoo.com one of their lead stories is a waiter who served a large party consisting of over twenty people, which includes an automatic 18% gratuity. Apparently this “pastor” didn’t appreciate this and remarked on his receipt, “I give God 10%. Why do you get 18?”
It seems this pastor was infuriated that his big imaginary friend, ruler of the universe, only received 10% gratuity for all of his divine miracles, and his skillful balancing of the planets, while a mere mortal received nearly twice as much. Personally,. I think the waiter worked much harder and is more deserving than this pastor’s imaginary friend since he had to wait on such a jackass.
