I’ve been circulating doom-and-gloom for a bit, so here’s something cheery. The EDL – a group persistently misunderstood and whose danger is also underestimated – were in Yorkshire to protest a local mosque, and the local Imam invited them in for tea and biscuits. According to some sources there was a nice little football game as well, though that hasn’t been verified yet. One of those little moments that makes me think the species will survive after all.
I will now be returning to doom and gloom.
