Off to Conflux 9

I’m headed off very soon to Conflux 9 in Canberra. The biggest news as far as I’m concerned will be the announcement of the winner of the Norma K. Hemming Award, since I spent the equivalent of some full-time weeks of work as one of the judges. All four shortlisted works are impressive. I’m also looking forward to my panels and simply to catching up with a lot of friends whom I don’t see often.

I’m not the sort of person who sits in audiences tweeting or blogging away, so I probably won’t have much to say online during the convention. Take care, all!
