• Personality & Mental Health in Paranormal Believers

    20905_829725760416673_1224381131935872452_nRecently, I was asked to give a talk to the University of Oklahoma Secular Sooners, the Student Secular Alliance at OU. So, on National Freethought Day 2015, I moseyed down to Norman and gave a talk over some of the more interesting findings from some of my recent research projects.

    Specifically, I talked about findings from a large study examining the relationship between personality factors (specifically the Big Five factors) and how those differed in skeptics compared to believers in the paranormal. Next, I spoke on how paranormal beliefs were related to mental health factors in the same sample. Watch the full video below.
