Over at Things Anti-Vaxers Say (TAVS) we have this story about a secret list allegedly used to ban “trolls” who agitate against anti-scientific thinking.
If this is true, it is the funniest thing I’ve seen all week. I didn’t think it was possible to outdo The Block Bot mods in terms of pointless displays of intellectual balkanization, but I was sorely mistaken. The list contains three different Novellas, one David Gorski, one Tim Farley, one Robert Blaskiewicz, one Abbie Smith, and fellow Okie Skeptic James Garrison. Not to mention the entire town of Enid, Oklahoma. (That last one may be a ringer.)
Upon perusing the list, I find myself wondering whether “ThehammerofThor” is an actual middle name and whether “Caleb Lock” is spelled correctly. If you’re on the list, hearty congratulations. If not, hey, something to shoot for.
