Continuing our series of recommendations for podcasts to load up on over the weekend, I’d like to recommend The Bible Geek Show with Robert M. Price. Since I’m feeling a bit lazy today, I’m just going to endorse the following review by Scott Knick written about the podcast on iTunes:
I can think of no scholar working in the field of New Testament studies who combines the erudition, honesty, fearlessness and generosity of Dr. Robert M. Price. That the editor/translator of the magisterial Pre-Nicene New Testament spend his time doing a podcast for laypeople is an incredible gift. How precious it is to have a supremely talented and knowledgeable Biblical authority who is at the same time unbeholden to the conservative forces that hold the purse at seminaries and universities!
Yeah, that pretty much sums it up.
