• James Croft on the Godcast

The James Croft interview (mp3) from Skepticon V has finally posted up on the Godcast iTunes feed. Go have a listen!

I’d like to thank James for sharing so much time with us, and I’d like to quibble with him just a little bit. One of the last things he was talking about was how the meetup groups don’t generally offer the kind of emotional support that church groups do. While this might well be true in general, my own experience is that once a group grows beyond around 100 or so active members, they do start doing these sort of things. Case in point, the stream of emotional and nutritional support that was flowing into my home in the wake of my father’s death just a few months ago, which I wrote about here in my opening post. See, James, we are getting better! 😀
