This is what my great co-blogger at Incongruent Elements. Beth Erickson, has reported. Great news for SIN:
The Skeptic Ink Network was listed #3 on Al Stefanelli’s “Top Ten Websites for 2012.”
There are way more than ten awesome websites that are worth visiting, but what would a “last post of the year” be without a top ten list? The problem is trying to find one that fits that #1 slot, as there are so many good places to go on the ether for a variety of different things. Some are individual blogs, some are blog networks and some are news and information sites. I had thought about making different categories, which I have done in the past. However, this year I decided to just compose a list of the sites I visit most often and that have shown to be accurate in their content and indicative of the proper use of critical thinking.
Here’s what he says about us:
Skeptic Ink Network – A relatively new blogging network on the scene, Skeptic Inc Network – or ‘SIN’ – hit the Internet running. Comprised of a ‘diverse group of voices applying critical perspective and analysis to important questions in philosophy, secularism, science, and the paranormal,’ SIN includes blogs from Ed Clint, John Loftus, Stephen Law, Justin Vacula, Maria Maltseva, Staks Rosch, Humanisticus, Notung, Tippling Philosopher and many others. Skeptic Ink Blogs has proven itself to be a viable player in the secular blogsphere, is one I visit every day and the source of a good part of what I promote every day on my social networks. SIN is an ‘inclusive community for those who share the value that an evidence-based worldview is critical to the health and flourishing of human society.’ I suggest you add this network to your favorites.
That’s awesome. Thanks Al! I feel honored to be part of such a fabulous group of writers.
Here’s to a productive and skeptical 2013.
