Who’da thunk it? The Anglican Church in Australia has just appointed its first ever female bishop, Rev Dr Sarah Macneil. (EDIT: apparently Dr Macneil is the first female bishop to lead a diocese – she is the 5th female bishop in the Australian Anglican church.)
