US congressman cites biblical flood to dispute human link to climate change
According to Texas Republican Joe Barton, the global flood recorded in Genesis 6-8 can be seen as a kind of climate change, but it “certainly wasn’t because mankind had overdeveloped hydrocarbon energy”. So I guess the current climate change (which Barton accepts is real) is presumably just as likely to have been divinely caused too, right?
