As my fellow blogger Beth mentioned earlier, we now know that rape pregnancies are God’s will. Of course, having been raped and then getting pregnant as a result, and having to carry the pregnancy to term, is about the most unpleasant thing that can happen to anyone. Which means, if it it God’s intention, then Dawkins had it right all along: God is all of those things, and worse.
It turns out, though, that this is not really news. We have been hearing this kind of language about rape from the GOP (God’s Own Party) for quite some time. Here is a taste of it.
