Think about it. People in the middle ages could not see a doctor, ate food you and I would not touch, and worked way harder than we will ever have to. The same is true about people throughout the bulk of history, from the early 1900&#8217;s all the way back to the hunter-gather tribes that civilization developed out of, and even the pre-human apes before them! We&#8217;ve got it good. Thanks to all the medical professionals who have saved us from disease, the agricultural scientists who&#8217;ve given us bountiful food (including the great Norman Borlaug, who saved a BILLION lives through his work on agricultural efficiency), and so many others.
