Okay, not really. But Ray Comfort has provided some fodder for one of the world’s greatest living philosophers, and Comfort’s material has even made its way into a classic philosophical treatise on evolutionary biology. I’m dead serious.
Dan Dennett quoted a pamphelet that asked “Do you know of a building that didn’t have a builder? Do you know of a painting that didn’t have a painter?”in his famous book Darwin’s Dangerous Idea.
In a youtube talk, Dennett expounds on this pamphlet, which also had a page about the banana, describing it as “the atheist’s nightmare.” Yep, that was written by the banana man himself, Ray Comfort.
So, Ray Comfort’s little pamphlet made into a classic book on evolution written by one of the greatest living philosophers. Neato, huh?
