I live in the Deep South. Naturally, I find right-wing opinions in the everyday conversation I hear from other people, on the radio when I drive to work, and even on the news. I’m happy to hear from every group, including conservative ones, but for quite a while I had a hard time finding a good leftist program to listen to.
That was before I found The Young Turks. The Young Turks are everything you could ask for: they’re funny, smart, and provide a very reasonable progressive perspective on current events. Best of all, you don’t have to sit and slog through an hour long news program, their youtube channel has plenty of good bite-sized clips on current issues. So, check ’em out!
