A sad column this time for Sunday Supervillainy – death of Ray Cusick

The sad news this morning is the announcement that Ray Cusick, designer of the Daleks for the long-running Doctor Who television series, has died. He was 84. According to reports, he died in his sleep of heart failure after a short illness.

He has certainly left behind a popular and enduring legacy with the famous salt-shaker design of the murderous Daleks. My sympathy and good wishes to his surviving loved ones.
