50 Great Myths About Atheism – in the publishing pipeline
My new book, co-authored with Udo Schuklenk, will be called 50 Great Myths About Atheism. We have now finalised the text, and it is well and truly in the pipeline for publication this year – currently scheduled for September. It will feature salient illustrations by the Jesus and Mo artist.
As I mention now and then, it’s not too late to pick up a copy of the book for which 50 Great Myths About Atheism will be very much a companion piece: 50 Voices of Disbelief: Why We Are Atheists , which Udo and I co-edited. Both books are from Wiley-Blackwell, a prestigious international publisher mainly doing academic work (it is essentially the old Basil Blackwell, but since incorporated into John Wiley and Sons), but usually aiming for mainstream accessibility. Whether Udo and I will ever do yet another book together, and make it a sort of trilogy, remains to be seen. Meanwhile, we’re pretty excited about the new book, and also by the continuing success of 50 Voices of Disbelief (with Polish and South Korean translations so far).
