• Mark Cuban, skeptic?

Mark CubanReally interesting article up on ESPN today, a site not known for it’s reporting on pseudoscience:

Mark Cuban rips NBA over bracelets

Apparently the NBA signed some sort of a promotion deal with the makers of Power Balance Bracelets.

The rubber bracelets have a distinctive hologram that is “based on Eastern philosophies of health and wellness,” according to the company’s website. Power Balance bracelets featuring NBA team logos in the hologram are available for $32.99 on the league’s official website.

Kudos to Cuban, owner of the Dallas Mavericks, for throwing those right into the trash where they belong. Maybe he saw the a primer on why these are a load of bunk or perhaps read a scientific article showing they don’t work. Or maybe he just had an ounce of common sense. Check out the video below to see him exercise his critical thinking skills.
