This week is the high point of the year in freethought for me and mine. I’m, like, this excited…
This week, Camp Quest Oklahoma is in full swing, with Joe and Mary keeping watch (along with loads of volunteers) over some of the most thoughtful children in the state, including my firstborn. I really couldn’t be any prouder.
Meanwhile, back here in OKC we’re gearing up for FreeOK, our annual statewide freethought conference, which will be held in our city for the first time this coming Saturday. If you live in Oklahoma, or any of the states that border us, have a look at this years lineup and then change your weekend plans.
For your convenience, I’ve collected together a few media bits about FreeOK, for those who want to know more about the event and the people organizing it:
- Oklahoma Gazette
- OKC dot net
- Foundation Beyond Belief
- Ace of Clades
- Friendly Atheist
- Oklahoma Atheists Blog
Hope to see some of you guys there! I’ll be manning the table for Americans United, so please feel free drop by and say hello.
