In July, Charlie Hebdo<\/em> capitulated to terrorism<\/a> and decided to stop drawing Muhammad<\/strong>, so that their workers could live.<\/p>\n

While that enlightened beacon went off to join all the coward voices of Western media who were incapable to stand up for the free speech upon which they operate, another had begun to illuminate shortly after the January slaughter<\/a><\/strong> \u2014 it’s Vive Charlie<\/a><\/em>, a digital weekly, which exists thanks to their patrons<\/a>:<\/p>\n

Following the horrific events at the offices of the satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo<\/em> in Paris, satirist @JihadistJoe<\/a><\/i> and illustrator @NoisyKafir<\/a><\/i> joined forces to create Vive Charlie. By bringing together artists and satirists to produce an online satirical magazine we will be exercising our rights of freedom of expression and freedom of speech<\/strong>. We will be mocking and ridiculing politicians, celebs, sports personalities, religion, global leaders and topical events.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

To date, they have published 19 issues<\/a> and I hope they continue to exist in order to publish many more \u2014 I hope they will keep publishing even by the time we will have recovered our right to mock and criticize any belief without paying with our lives<\/strong>, and when the words “blasphemy” and “Islamophobia” are only bitter memories of when the illiterate and bigoted tried to shove their sacred concepts.<\/p>\n
